Hornstulls Marknad is postponed until further notice
With regards to the recent development concerning Covid 19 and the restrictions for public events in Sweden we have decided to postpone the opening of this year´s market. The safety and health for not just our visitors, but as a caring society as a whole is our primary concern. And as we strive to be a responsible and aware organiser we want to be part of the solution, not the problem.
For now, we feel obliged to cancel the market in APRIL & MAY, but we hope to be open later in the season.
To our cherished future and current vendors – we will of course find new participation dates if you have a current bookings.

Det ingår ett bord vid samtliga platser på Hornstulls Marknad. Dessa står uppställda på området när man anländer som försäljare. Vill man inte använda sitt bord, för att exponera ytan och sina varor på annat vis, går det givetvis bra att plocka bort bordet

Have you ever had a cookie where you had an aha moment that you need this delicious butter laden pastry in your life multiple times a year? Well, that’s how I felt when I tried a famous Levain Bakery Cookie from NYC. In my past several visits to NYC, Levain has been on my list among many places to try. For some reason or another, we never were able to make it.
My in laws paid a visit recently to the bakery and were nice enough not to devour every cookie they purchased. Upon my request, they brought back 2 cookies for my husband and me. After several days of being baked, they were STILL good! I couldn’t believe just how good they were so I decided to recipe test to get the closest version possible.
My awesome & talented blogger friend, Erika, aka The Pancake Princess, came over one day to help test recipes. After 4 hours, we found, then perfected the best copycat recipe. The key points are to make the dough balls pretty large, it doesn’t work well on tiny dough mounds; shock the dough at a high temperature cooking the outside while keeping the inside undercooked; using high quality ingredients ie: european style butter, and freezing the dough mounds before baking.
and started out by making fashionable zipper purses in high school. This led me to St. Edward’s University where I got a business degree in Entrepreneurship. Upon graduating, I worked in accounting for 2 years then finally realized it was time to do what I really wanted.
I always had a love for food (both cooking and eating!) so I enrolled in HCC’s pastry program in Houston, Texas. Then dabbled in a few culinary classes, getting back to the basics. From there I worked at Mockingbird Bistro, The Houstonian, and stayed with Compass Group, where I grew from pastry cook to catering manager, combining my love of food and business.

Although the work John was involved with was powerful and transformative, he began to experience a growing sense that there was another challenge calling him to explore. In 2012, John felt a clear calling to lead, contribute and accomplish more than he had ever dared to undertake previously and so he began a new journey.
Over the next four years, John spent time investing and preparing himself by deepening and strengthening his own personal transformation by attending more trainings and seminars. One such training was John Eldredge’s Wild at Heart Boot Camp. Here John gained clarity around this new journey and his calling became more intense inspiring him to invite others to join him.
How would you like to awaken, each day feeling empowered, passionate, courageous and worthy of your place on this earth? Well, that isn’t the way average people start their day. For many their day starts with thoughts of everything they must accomplish. Sometimes before putting even one foot on the floor, some have created a mental to-do list – a daunting list of both significant and unimportant items that will consume their day. It is likely, much of it will not be completed and will roll onto the next day’s list, or imagery of all that they do not have and would like to have. Before an average person has their first cup of coffee, they are already feeling overwhelmed and beaten down, feeling like no matter what they do they are not destined to live the life they dream of living.
In contrast, a person who lives an extraordinary life awakens quite differently. This person considers how they want their day to unfold and the virtues or character traits that will be required of them to create such a day. In other words, they think first of their state of being that they will live out that day. Then they take action from that state of being to produce their desired results. People who live extraordinary lives may feel tired at the end of their day but it is a very different experience than what the average person feels. Average just wants to eat a meal, watch a couple hours of television and go to bed. While extraordinary, after a meal and refreshment, is ready to work on their plan that produces satisfaction and fulfillment.
